Pickling cucumbers are wonderful as they are, or sometimes I'll do a quick pickle with them. By heating up a brine of 1 cup white vinegar, 1 cup of water, salt, fresh dill, and seasonings. Then pour it in a jar of sliced cucumbers. Enjoy the first day of Summer with this unique and yummy watermelon variety! We've been juicing them, and adding a little lime juice, with a touch of salt and chili flakes. Hydrating and delicious! Donut Peaches in the family, large, and fruint bundles, are one of my favorite stone fruit varieties. You can give them about a day on the counter, so they have a little give to them, then make sure to refrigerate them. |
